John 6:35

Then Jesus declared, I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor - Isaiah 55:5

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the official site of the 'Bread From Heaven Ministries', the place where we serve the bread that nourishes the soul. Our mission is simple and it is to propagate the word of God, to feed the citizens of God's kingdom with the ever living, ever powerful word of God that is able to open each one of us into God's very best. As citizens of this Kingdom, your life is unique and precious to God, your soul more especially, God is interested in every aspect of your existence. God is not only interested in the deliverance of your soul, he is equally interested in the prosperity of your soul. It is my prayer therefore that God will make your time in this place a blessed one. Shalom!

The mark of a disciple - What do you have to give?

Act 3:3 — 5 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.”And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them.

It is easy for us to read this passage and simply move on without being challenged by it, while believing that what was recorded here is something beyond our ability. We would be wrong, this i say because whatever Peter and John did, whatever they gave to the man came from what they had received from Jesus.

The mark of a disciple - Have you been with Christ?

Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

We must ask the question, what are the marks of a true disciple of Christ? We must ask ourselves when people put my lifestyle under scrutiny will it lead back to Christ, will it reveal patterns,

The manual of a true believer

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16.

It is a doctrinal fact that we are saved through the unmerited favor of God or what is popularly referred to as grace.the grace of God, as opposed to works. Through this grace, God bestowed his righteousness on everyone who accepts Jesus as their personal saviour, such he declares them righteous and justified....not on the account of what they have done or could do or would do, but simply on the account of what Christ already accomplished on the cross of Calvary.

The mark of a disciple - a prayer for boldness

Act 4:29 — 30 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.

Still on being a disciple of Christ, perhaps one truth which those who aspire to live a Christ inspired life must first of all have to live and deal with, is one which informs of the oppositions and persecutions to follow.

The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you

Mark 4:11 He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables.

This is an interesting disclosure which ought to arouse our curiosity about what is implied by our Lord. You see, that every born again believer is a citizen of the kingdom of God may not be an issue that we struggle to accept and even live with, but the struggle often starts when the so called citizens of the kingdom cannot comprehend the secrets of the kingdom which are held to them as principles, tenets and instructions.

Food For The day

Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story – those he redeemed from the hand of the foe. - Psalm 107:2

The requirement to declare their redemption is not the question rather the question is how they are to go about it. They must learn to do so by what they confess with their mouth and by what they believe about themselves as well as give themselves to. They must always see and carry themselves in that manner, refusing to accept or subscribe to anything contrary. To be redeemed is to be free from every form of bondage, therefore refuse to yield to any form of bondage, for you are indeed the redeemed of the Lord

Hebrews 10:30-31
“For we know him who said, ?It is mine to avenge; I will repay,? and again, ?The Lord will judge his people.? It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
