John 6:48

I am the bread of life.

Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor - Isaiah 55:5

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the official site of the 'Bread From Heaven Ministries', the place where we serve the bread that nourishes the soul. Our mission is simple and it is to propagate the word of God, to feed the citizens of God's kingdom with the ever living, ever powerful word of God that is able to open each one of us into God's very best. As citizens of this Kingdom, your life is unique and precious to God, your soul more especially, God is interested in every aspect of your existence. God is not only interested in the deliverance of your soul, he is equally interested in the prosperity of your soul. It is my prayer therefore that God will make your time in this place a blessed one. Shalom!

The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you

Mark 4:11 He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables.

This is an interesting disclosure which ought to arouse our curiosity about what is implied by our Lord. You see, that every born again believer is a citizen of the kingdom of God may not be an issue that we struggle to accept and even live with, but the struggle often starts when the so called citizens of the kingdom cannot comprehend the secrets of the kingdom which are held to them as principles, tenets and instructions.

He has the power to redeem!

When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Mark 2:5.

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. John 9:1-4.

Reading these verses one would be tempted to point out what appears to be certain contradictions here

Submit to God

Job 22:21 “Submit to God and be at peace with him;in this way prosperity will come to you.

It is easy to ascribe the lack of peace or the incessant struggles we go through in life to the operations of certain unseen hands or forces of the enemy..this we do with a certain conviction that often blinds us to other possibilities. We end up chasing shadows as a result. For those who have been redeemed of the Lord,

There is a day of reckoning!

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10.

The message conveyed to us by this passage remains one of the core truths upon which the Christian faith is built and one which every believer must strive to keep to heart at all times making sure that they do not lose sight of.

Concerning this truth, i want you to know that like everything that is the word of God,

What are you producing?

Hebrews 6:7-8 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

One of the mistakes we can become vulnerable to as believers, is one which this passage sensitises us to ..this it does with the question, what are you producing? This is the folly of believing that coming into God's blessings and his provisions is all that matters in our quest for Him. It is this grave mistake that this message sets out to expose.

Food For The day

And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.- Mathew 8:2.

Although Jesus healed him, but not before saying to him I am willing. Jesus came for this very purpose and whenever we come to him for help, we should avoid the sort of attitude displayed by the leper, instead it should be ˜If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well as displayed by the woman with the issue of blood. Not only was she healed, she was commended for her faith as well, you see she had the right attitude.

James 1:12
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
