John 6:51

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread, he will live for ever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Welcome

Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor - Isaiah 55:5

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the official site of the 'Bread From Heaven Ministries', the place where we serve the bread that nourishes the soul. Our mission is simple and it is to propagate the word of God, to feed the citizens of God's kingdom with the ever living, ever powerful word of God that is able to open each one of us into God's very best. As citizens of this Kingdom, your life is unique and precious to God, your soul more especially, God is interested in every aspect of your existence. God is not only interested in the deliverance of your soul, he is equally interested in the prosperity of your soul. It is my prayer therefore that God will make your time in this place a blessed one. Shalom!

My time of recompense

Esther 6:1-3,-11 That night the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him.  It was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway, who had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes.“What honor and recognition has Mordecai received for this?”the king asked.“Nothing has been done for him,”his attendants answered..............

Mordecai had carried out some good deeds in the past, he exposed the plot to kill the king but several years later it appeared as if his good deeds had gone unnoticed and would not be rewarded. Many would have given up, especially when the fate of Mordecai in the hands of Hamman is replayed.

Is anything too hard for the Lord?

Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing…… Is anything too hard for the Lord? -Genesis 18:11,14

While it is true that the realities of our daily existence in the body of flesh presents us with certain data called facts, we need to pause a little to ask the question especially for those who are of faith. We need to ask the question "By Whose report?".

Facing the reality of being a new creation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
It can be said that perhaps the biggest challenge facing believers today is not the threat posed by the enemy even though in many quarters the enemy appear to have been given a status that commands so much attention from them,

Delight yourself in the Lord

A call into Christian living. (Mathew 6:25-34, Philipians 4:4-9)

Perhaps one the biggest challenges facing a number of Christians especially newly converted believers is the question of how they are expected to live their lives after coming to Christ. You see it is one thing to accept the offer of salvation and the commitment to be a follower of Christ, while it is quite another proposition entirely to live as one.

Beware of dogs...

Philippians 3:2  Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision
One of the mistakes many believers often make in their study of the scripture is to come across verses like this and to automatically assume they are addressed to those outside the church especially because of the strong language used.

Food For The day

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.- Genesis 1:27.

Take a minute to appreciate this spiritual truth, I don't know what life has thrown at you to make you feel that you are not up to it or will not amount to anything. I want you to know that, you are like God. But I don't feel like that? Then ask him to reveal his likeness in you to you today.

Matthew 7:7-8
“[Ask, Seek, Knock] ?Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
