Isaiah 55 : 1-2

Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labour on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

Welcome

Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor - Isaiah 55:5

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the official site of the 'Bread From Heaven Ministries', the place where we serve the bread that nourishes the soul. Our mission is simple and it is to propagate the word of God, to feed the citizens of God's kingdom with the ever living, ever powerful word of God that is able to open each one of us into God's very best. As citizens of this Kingdom, your life is unique and precious to God, your soul more especially, God is interested in every aspect of your existence. God is not only interested in the deliverance of your soul, he is equally interested in the prosperity of your soul. It is my prayer therefore that God will make your time in this place a blessed one. Shalom!

Put not your trust in flesh...

Luke 22:31-34 “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” Peter said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death.” Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know me.

The walk of faith is a challenging one, let no one be deluded about that and we must be careful not to allow anyone to inspire us with any sweet doctrine or teaching to the contrary.

Knowing God through the circumstances of life.

Exodus 6:2-3 God spoke to Moses and said to him, “I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by my name the Lord I did not make myself known to them.
It is one thing to know a man's name, it is another thing entirely to know why a man is so called. There was a time when the name of a man tells us almost evrrything we need to know about him and how we can expect him to react to events in his life.

O you of little faith, why did you doubt

Mathew 14:30-31 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
There is an interesting aspect of our walk of faith which the scripture verse above sets out to reveal to us, doing so that we might gain strenght and comfort in the midst of whatever life has thrown our way.

Cast out the slave woman and her son...

Galatians 4:30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.
There is the need to give a proper context to this verse if at all we are going to grasp the message it sets out to impart to us today.

The gospel of condemnation or the gospel of life?

Acts 19:3-4 “Well, then, what kind of baptism did you receive?” Paul asked. “The baptism of John,” they answered.

It is increasingly becoming difficult to present the gospel as it ought to be as a result of a number reasons which are as a result of the social views of the world in which we now live in becoming a major influence when deciding how the gospel ought to be handled.

Food For The day

For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” – Esther 4:14.

One important message which those who are the beneficiaries of God’s blessings must keep reminding themselves of, is the reason why they have been so favoured. God said to Abraham, ‘I will bless you so that you will become a blessing unto others’.  Does God’s blessing in your life bring blessing unto others who are in need, do they experience the goodness of God from this blessing or does it make life become even more unbearable for them. Ask yourself, has your blessing delivered and uplifted the needy thus bringing glory to God? If the answer is no, then let the warnings of Mordecai speak to you today.

Hebrews 12:1
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”
