John 6:51

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread, he will live for ever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor - Isaiah 55:5

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the official site of the 'Bread From Heaven Ministries', the place where we serve the bread that nourishes the soul. Our mission is simple and it is to propagate the word of God, to feed the citizens of God's kingdom with the ever living, ever powerful word of God that is able to open each one of us into God's very best. As citizens of this Kingdom, your life is unique and precious to God, your soul more especially, God is interested in every aspect of your existence. God is not only interested in the deliverance of your soul, he is equally interested in the prosperity of your soul. It is my prayer therefore that God will make your time in this place a blessed one. Shalom!

The righteousness of God...

Romans 1:17 For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

If the question is asked of many today about what does it mean to be called a righteous person? Many would not hesitate to say that a righteous man is a holy man,  one that is without fault, as a matter of fact, they would be tempted to ascribe perfection to the one. who is called righteous

Not without a vision.

Genesis 15:5 Then He brought him outside and said, Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them. And He said to him, So shall your descendants be.

The importance of vision in the journey of a man here on earth is of such importance that it cannot be waved aside. A man without a vision in life, is like a traveler without a destination or any sense of direction, such would keep on heading to nowhere until they burn themselves out.

There were indeed giants in the land

There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” – Number 13:33.

This was the evil part of the report which ten of the twelve spies that were sent to spy the Promised Land brought back upon the completion of their assignment. They had been sent by Moses to spy out the land as part of their preparation towards gaining possession of the land. I want you to note this part, I say so because everyone that God is going to bless he gives them a peek into what that blessing holds. God does this for a number of reasons, this would unfold in the course of this teaching.

Favored by God

Romans 5:1-2 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

It is not uncommon for believers to pray for the favor of God, as a matter of fact it remains one of the favorite prayer points of many. It must be stated however that the way many go about this quest, makes one to wonder if the favor being sought is something new of which they are yet to have access to.

For this purpose God became flesh

Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

As we pass through another Christmas season, we need not get lost in its festivities alone instead we  need to use the season to remind ourselves  again what the coming of our Lord truly represents and why as believers it is an occasion which calls for celebration. We need to ask ourselves the question what does the coming of the Lord represents and what does it mean to my walk of faith. There is a reason why we celebrate at Christmas and  a reason for the prevailing atmosphere of  festivity, but we must be careful not to lose focus of the real reason behind why we do this.

Food For The day

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. - John 14:27.

The word 'Peace' is one thing that is so elusive in the world we live today although almost everyone desires it. Therefore many would go to any length looking for it, indulging themselves in all manner of activities, lifestyle, or pursuits, all with the aim of attaining this peace. But what they find is the peace which the scripture called 'peace of this world', a form of peace that leaves it's beneficiaries unfulfilled and empty, unable to satisfy the longing of their heart. But there is a peace that Jesus promises, it is the perfect peace, defying all understanding yet more than able to satisfy. The world cannot give this peace, only Jesus can and it is on offer if only you would receive him.

Psalm 1:1-2
“[BOOK I Psalms 1?41] Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.”
