Isaiah 55 : 1-2

Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labour on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

Welcome

Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor - Isaiah 55:5

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the official site of the 'Bread From Heaven Ministries', the place where we serve the bread that nourishes the soul. Our mission is simple and it is to propagate the word of God, to feed the citizens of God's kingdom with the ever living, ever powerful word of God that is able to open each one of us into God's very best. As citizens of this Kingdom, your life is unique and precious to God, your soul more especially, God is interested in every aspect of your existence. His word is forever settled.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?- 1 John 5:4-5.

There are couple of truths which we as believers must understand and always remind ourselves of in our walk of faith, not only do we need to remind ourselves of these truths, we must remain unshaken in our steadfastness towards them. What truths you may ask?

The son of perdition

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. -John17:12.

In his prayers for his disciples, Jesus made mention of the one he called 'The son of perdition ‘, he said that everyone that the Father had given to him was accounted for and

Has your faith been tested and sifted?

Print PDF

“These have come so that your faith- of greater worth than gold which perishes even though refined by fire may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed” (1 Peter 1:7).

Until what we call faith is tested we would never know if we walking around with the genuine article or a fake one. It is easy to shout that we have faith, but until such a faith is tested it would be difficult

The state of my heart

Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. – Deuteronomy 8:2.

While the prospect of living in the Kingdom should fill us with such exceeding joy and great expectations as a result of the promises which it holds out to us all,

Putting on the full armour of God - The belt of truth

Print PDF

Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything to stand. Stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist (Ephesians 6: 13-14).

Is there anyone in the body of Christ today who would by now still claim not to know what the bible implied by the coming of evil days? Very few if any I would say.

Food For The day

Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. – Genesis 1:19.

As we go about confronting the issues of life, we need to be careful what we call or address the situation which life throws our way. Many go through life believing that life owes them something, they are wrong. On the contrary we need to take a cue from Adam as well as from the position of God on this matter, you see whatever Adam called it, so it was and God respected the position, we are told. Be careful therefore how you call or address the situations you are confronted with in life, because whatever you name them so shall they be. Before you label any situation, remember what the word says about you; ‘He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world’.

John 17:17
“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”
