John 6:48

I am the bread of life.

Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor - Isaiah 55:5

It gives me great joy to welcome you to the official site of the 'Bread From Heaven Ministries', the place where we serve the bread that nourishes the soul. Our mission is simple and it is to propagate the word of God, to feed the citizens of God's kingdom with the ever living, ever powerful word of God that is able to open each one of us into God's very best. As citizens of this Kingdom, your life is unique and precious to God, your soul more especially, God is interested in every aspect of your existence. God is not only interested in the deliverance of your soul, he is equally interested in the prosperity of your soul. It is my prayer therefore that God will make your time in this place a blessed one. Shalom!

Making the word of God relevant in our lives

Do not let this Book of Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful” (Joshua 1:8).

This was the instruction that God gave to Joshua after succeeding Moses as the leader of the Israelites. Moses was now dead, but he left behind a big shoe that anyone in the position of Joshua would tremble and feel inadequate to step into.

The Place Called Peniel

So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying 'It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared'. - Genesis 32: 30

For those who are familiar with the story of Jacob, the name or the place called Peniel would not sound strange to them at all, I say so because of the event that took place at this place. For the sake of those who not are familiar with the story, let us revisit this place and recapture the event that took place there and why it is worth talking about.

Fighting temptations

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. - 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Temptation is one word that we are all familiar with as believers and for many of us it is one word that puts fear in us because it has come to be associated with everything that our faith disapproves of.

You have been born again-You are indeed a new person

"I tell you the truth no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born again" (John 3:3)

There are couple of divine and biblical truths that I would like to share with you about our new status, the one that is conferred on us when we become a born again believer. I want you to know that being born again is not a fad nor is it some fanciful tag that we are given to impress our fellow Christian believers. Neither is it some title for dressing up our faith. The reason why it is not so is because there are certain truths that you and I need to understand about what becoming born again delivers  us into.

Food For The day

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. - Hebrews 11:6.

What does it mean to believe in God especially when it comes to petitioning him in prayers? Well the scripture above helps us to understand that we must make up our mind about what we believe about God along these two lines :
. They must believe it is the will of God to give to them what they are asking.
. They must believe that God is able.

There is no 'or' here, instead true belief demands an 'and' attitude with regards to the two points highlighted above, both conditions must be met when we table our prayer requests before him.

Hebrews 7:25
“Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.”
