Food For The day

Who then is the man that fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.- Psalm 25:14.

When we pray Lord show me your will for my life, we often do so believing that his will is deliberately being hidden from us, but is this true? The condition for entering God’s will is clearly revealed unto us here, when a man fears and reverences the Lord, the door into the will of God is open unto such. So what does it man to fear the Lord? In simple words it is to elevate God and his ways above everything in our lives, especially as revealed to us by his words and instructions. To fear the Lord is to make him the most important person in our lives, giving due diligence as opposed to lip service to his ways, this is what it means to be in the will of God. You see the will of God for us is revealed to us as taught to us by his words, the question is what is our attitude towards his revealed will.

Hebrews 10:30-31
“For we know him who said, ?It is mine to avenge; I will repay,? and again, ?The Lord will judge his people.? It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
