John 6:51

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread, he will live for ever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

The Attitude for prayers of petition

Therefore I say unto you , what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them - Mark 11:24.

Prayer is an essential key in our faith walk and our attitude towards it is not only broad but it varies as well. Whenever we are bringing a prayer of petition before the Lord, we need to understand that there is an attitude that we need to maintain as we approach the throne of grace. It is an attitude that is informed by the benevolent nature of the God whom we serve who will not withhold that which is good from his children. It is an attitude that says it is already done even before I ask, it is an attitude that aligns itself with the heart of the father, which as Jesus revealed saying ˜Before you ask for anything, your heavenly father knows that you have need for those things. Informed by this, we come with our petition that says ,I have already received them, therefore I thank you father.
