Psalm 1: 2-3

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

Expectation will activate your breakthrough

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. - Daniel 10:12.

I want you to know that the minute your expectation is released, so also is your breakthrough, actually expectation is the trigger that sets your breakthrough off. I want you to understand this point clearly, you see by faith we stake claims to our promises in Christ, by faith we believe in what God has promised us in Christ, by faith we even delight in them as though we have them. But without the power of expectation those promises would remain promises. I want you to know that it is the power of expectation which sets in motion the breakthrough that delivers us into those promises.

When Daniel set off with the expectation to inquire from God the fate of his people from God, although what he sought after took a while before he got any form of response, but eventually he got his response and he was informed that his prayers were answered right from the very first day when he set his face to seek the Lord. In other words the machinery for his breakthrough was set in motion the very minute he released his expectations.

The minute we set the power of expectation in motion, we also set off our breakthrough and as long as we keep alive our expectations, we also keep alive our breakthrough. I want you to know that expectation is the key that opens the door for breakthrough, faith will bring you to the door, it may cause you to even knock on the door, but expectation is the key that unlocks the door of breakthrough.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57
“?Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
