  “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

As I sit down to pen this teaching I have the picture of certain moments that I have gone through in life, the pains, the disappointment and the hopelessness of those moments at some time not too far away. Of course the picture

 would not be complete without the misconceptions that I harboured about those moments at the time, the very misconceptions that connived with the enemy to make those moments more painful and more uncomfortable than they ought to have been. You see the conniving duo of the trying moments and my own misgivings about what I was going through succeeded in denying me of the comfort and refreshment that was mine to draw upon as revealed by the knowledge of God’s plan and will for me during those moments. As I reflect over those moments gone by , I can only look back now and say how I wish I knew about this all along, how I wish I had a clearer picture of what those moments were achieving for me and through me.
