Faith Talk

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.- Romans 10:17.

While it is true that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, what is equally important is how this hearing comes about. Going through the scriptures we see how the luminaries of faith came into their faith. They heard, witnessed or received testimonies about God and his words through different means, it can be said that the impact felt also varies. Nevertheless it succeeded in achieving one outcome , which was bringing the recipients to faith. Not all of us would see the burning bush or have the 'On the road to Damascus experience' or see and feel the wounds on the palm of Jesus before we can believe. Nevertheless we can still reach out with the aim of benefiting from these experiences by studying the timeless messages which they pass on to us. Just as the scriptures said, these encounters were recorded for our own benefits.
