Psalm 1: 2-3

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

Teachings And Sermons
  • The realities of the new birth   ( 9 Articles )

There are couple of divine and biblical truths which as believers we all need to know  about our new status, the one that is conferred on us when we become a born again believer. I want you to know that being born again is not a fad nor is it some fanciful tag that we are meant to use to impress you fellow Christian believers

  • The Law Of the Spirit of Life   ( 2 Articles )

As true born again believers , born again in the spirit to a walk of the spirit, our life is now to be governed by the Law of the spirit of life even though we still dwell on earth. The law of the spirit of life is God's answer for destroying the power which the law of sin and death wields over mankind. The following teachings sets out to explore both laws but with more emphasis on the law that truly freed us from the law of sin and death.

  • Sin shall not have dominion over you.   ( 5 Articles )

No temptation has seized you except that which is common to man. And God is faithful, he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand under it. (1 Corinthians 10: 12-13).

When the scripture declared that as believers are no longer under the dominion of sin and then went on to also declare that those who have been born of God cannot sin any more, the word of God was not ignoring the reality of the proneness of the flesh to sin, neither was it being unrealistic in making these claims. While these claims are positional truths, the word of God on the other hand clearly provide us more insights and heavenly wisdom on how we as believers can attain to these positional truths.

  • The Church Of Christ   ( 11 Articles )

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9.

In this series, we want to explore what it means to belong to the Church of Christ, in addition to what the scripture reveals to us about the people that are called the body of Christ.  It is good to remind ourselves , that we the people who are called to be God's people remind ourselves , who have also been called into this glorious position through Christ. It is good to always remind ourselves of who we are as well as how and why we have been called into the commonwealth of God's people.

  • The Message behind Christmas   ( 1 Article )

Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

As we pass through another Christmas season, we need not get lost in its festivities alone instead, rather we need to use the season to remind ourselves again what the coming of our Lord truly represents and why as believers it is an occasion which calls for celebration. We need to ask ourselves the question what does the coming of the Lord represents and what does it mean to my walk of faith. There is a reason why we celebrate at Christmas, there is a reason for the atmosphere of celebration, but we must be careful not to lose focus of the real reason behind the celebrations.

  • Seeking, Knocking and Asking after the Scripture   ( 5 Articles )

So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” – Acts 8:30-31.

This section is dedicated to providing teachings and guidelines on specific passages from the scriptures. Reading the word is one thing, understanding clearly the message that is read is another. In this section our prayer is that as a ministry we would be inspired through the power of the Holy Spirit to do what Philip did with the Ethiopian eunuch.

What did he do? Well he was able to open the eyes of the Ethiopian to see the riches which salvation through Christ made available. As a result, the life of the Ethiopian was never the same, for he received the gift of salvation there and then.

So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” –Acts 8:34-35.

It is amazing how much difference the revelation of the truth of the gospel can make in our lives. All the Ethiopian did was to inquire after the scripture, he got more than he bargained for.
